Our Nurses
Tennille Terrell – Veterinary Nurse
Tennille has been with East Bentleigh Animal Care vet since they first opened almost 7 years ago. She is fully qualified, and holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a Certificate III in Business Administration. Her responsibilities include those of a general Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Receptionist and Surgical Nurse. Her favourite aspects of her job are working closely with animals and providing hands on surgical and nursing care. She gains great satisfaction from watching patients she has cared for recover.
Her large back yard is home to Dudley – a lazy grey cat, Madagascar – a highly energetic Border Collie X pup, and now Gary – a boisterous ginger kitten. Tennille is a very capable and experienced nurse, and a great part of our team. She sees her role as helping you provide the best quality care for your pets throughout their lives.

Angela Smith - Veterinary Nurse
Angel has been working as a veterinary Nurse since 1973 and is dedicated to excellence in animal care. Angela qualified as Veterinary Nurse in 1976, and has been perusing her interest in animal welfare since then. She keeps her skills up to date by attending professional seminars from time to time.
Angela has many pets of her own including Krispin the horse, Pepper the dog, Plasmo and Mitzi the cats, Bobbie, Daisy and Henny Penny the chickens, and Bit Bob Bubbles the gold fish. When not at the clinic Angela can be found swimming, horse riding, or walking the dog.

Palwinder Jeet Kaur – Veterinary Nurse
Jeet has been working with us as a Receptionist/Veterinary Nurse over the last 2 years. During this time she has had a broad range of exposure to veterinary reception, surgical and nursing duties.
Jeet was previously teaching for many years, before adopting a new profession in veterinary nursing. Her enthusiasm, patience, and gentle handling of all our patients make her a great addition to our team. Jeet spends her free time with her dog Neo adopted from Keysborough Animal Shelter.Her hobbies are traveling and watching Bollywood movies.

Sharyn – Veterinary Nurse
Sharyn began nursing in 1992 and worked for the next 17 years full time in a variety of small animal practices. During this time she did some locuming for a change of pace as well as working for 18 months at the Australian Animal Protection Society in Keysborough. She still works part time as a nurse for us as well working full time for a veterinary wholesaler.
Sharyn’s household consists of her husband, two cats and two very pampered and well loved fluffy pooches. Three out of the four of her current pets are rescue animals from various jobs which is pretty normal for most vets and vet nurses.
