Puppy Parties
Being a puppy is one of the most important stages in a
dog's life. It is this period between 4 to 18 weeks of
age that the young puppy will learn quickly, so this is
the vital age to start training & socialising the pup.
Everything that a puppy sees and experiences during
this stage will have a great effect on how they behave
as adults. For example, puppies who are never
exposed to children or loud noises may develop a fear
of such things, translating to serious aggression or
phobia problems later on.
In a friendly safe environment, East Bentleigh Animal Care vet will introduce you to the training & socialisation of your puppy with other
puppies and people.
Our parties will teach good manners such as sit, recall & drop, and also intruct
you how to deal with behavioural problems such
as biting & jumping. All aspects of pet care will also be
discussed from diet, grooming, dental, toilet training,
and the basic understanding of normal canine behaviour.
Our puppy classes are held at the clinic every Saturday. Over four weeks your trainer will cover a range of topics including:
• Diet & Nutrition
• House Training
• Dealing with Mouthing,
Biting, Nipping & Chewing
• Work & Release Commands
• How to 'Sit' Your Dog
• Correct Way to Handle the Lead
• Social Walking
• Dealing with Destructive Behaviour (Jumping,
Barking & Digging)
• How to 'Stand' Your Dog
• Vet Checks & Health
